Hnuoi hi to inchuin
Rî insuo naw sien, Rimawi châwlin
Pârhai khawm vul naw sien,
Ka tieng bân la phar tho i ti?

I duthusâm tlung lovin,
Ka tum suk hlawtling thei naw lang,
Ka hrâtna bo sien,
Châu le lungzingin um lang,
Mi la pawm tho i ti?

Innui ni lungngai ni a inchangin,
Ei hlimna hai hin mi sukhliemin
Ka dûthusâm hin mi beidawng pui sien,
Ka ta di'n nang hi nang i ni pei thei ding?

If the world is quiet and give no sound
Music ceases and is no more music,
If flowers no more bloom
Will you still raise your arms to hold me?.

If your desire vanishes
And I fail to fulfil my dreams
If my strength failed me,
And heart-wrenched out of weakness
Will you still put me in your bosom?

If joyous times turned to grief If wounded by our merriment, And my desires make me despair Will you still be 'you' for me?
